For my specialist professional project i based my project upon future trends for fall 2013 women s wear, looking specifically into the elephant and Asian textiles. I mainly produced a selection of digitally and screen printed fabrics, this was the first time i experimented with digital printing and over all i was very pleased with the final outcome of them. My finalised designs resembled a tribal and ethnic approach, which is what i was hoping to achieve. I will be soon finding a way to present these designs and fashion fabrics in a sophisticated way for my portfolio....coming soon....the first image shows my digitally printed fabrics, the middle image shows my initial ideas and research and the last image shows my studio space on assessment day.
